April bee blocks {w.i.p}

So we listed our condo for sale last Wednesday, had showings the rest of the week and an Open House on Saturday. I have never cleaned and de-cluttered as much as the last couple of weeks! Keep your fingers crossed that we sell our condo soon and find our next house!

In the meantime, I have been working on Bee Blocks.  For the Modern Bee, Paul picked the Neon Ninja Block and requested that we leave the star component white.  Here is what I’m thinking about so far:

For my second bee, Sue requested the Shattered Chevron block in scrappy reds, blues, and grays. She is planning to donate them for a Siblings Together quilt at the Fat Quarterly Retreat in the summer.  To know this quilt will go to siblings who are separated by foster care, kinship care, residential care or adoption makes this block even more special.  Here is what I have picked out so far for her block:

I am so excited to work on my bee blocks!  What are you working on??

Linking up with Lee of Freshly Pieced for W.I.P. Wednesdays!
