Another Bess Top!

Have you ever decided the night before an event that you “need” something new to wear?  Yeah, that’s me.  I picked up this amazing print at a small local fabric store near me and instantly knew it had to be a shirt.  After making my first Bess Top (pattern by imagine gnats), I decided to make another one.

For this top, I decided to use self (same fabric) bias facing instead of the knit.  I also used my serger (and only rethread it three times!), which made the sewing go even faster.  Since I am a bit nerdy, I timed it.  Two hours!!!

Here are a few other shots including an action shot from Craftcation!

Do you have any go-to patterns for your wardrobe?  I am still working on grading my Sailor Top!  🙂
