This year, I was offered a ticket to see the Craft and Hobby Association show. Many people know that scrapbooking was one of my first crafty endeavors so I knew about the show from my scrapbooking days. As I was walking along with Carolina Moore, we turned a corner and found the Lion Brand yarn booth. Sitting underneath a huge ocean scape made of yarn was London O’Donnell aka London Kaye. Neither Carolina or I are shy people so we struck up a conversation with London. In just a few minutes, I could see her passion and feel her creative energy. I asked her if she wanted to be on the podcast and she said yes!
Would you like to see some of her street art (also known as “yarn bombs”)?[one_half][/one_half][one_half_last][/one_half_last]
During our podcast, London and I talk about how she went from a full dance scholarship at New York University to a street artist/yarn bomber, the story behind her past projects and the passion she brings to her work. I hope you enjoy the episode.
