Here it is:
Her exquisite use of solid fabrics and high contrast design left me speechless. She merges design, textile and color in a way I had not experienced before. As I have learned more about her design process (using a computer program!) and Libs’ esthetic, I look forward to her next creation. When her True Love fabric line from Andover Fabrics was announced, it seemed like kismet. Luckily, I was able to pick up a fat quarter bundle at Quilt Market and am already making a quilt top with it. (Coming soon!)
Here is one of the quilts made from True Love, shown at Quilt Market:
(You can find the free pattern here.)
Living in Vancouver, Canada, Libs and I chat about growing up in Canada (and I giggle when she says “about”). We also talk about her work with textiles and the design world, her relationship to music, how she designs her quilts using a computer program and so much more. I know you will love this episode!
