My dear friend, Sarah, introduced me to the Great British Sewing Bee when I asked for a good tv show recommendation. I started
binge watching until one day, Mr Bear saw what I was watching and decided he wanted to watch the show too! It became one of our shows to watch together.
Fast forward to this season. I met Charlotte Newland at Quilt Con. Wearing her gorgeous handmade garments, she was walking around the show with a mutual friend, Jacey. Always smiling, Charlotte is kind, hilarious and a fun magnet. When I read she was a contestant on the show, it all made sense to me. I could see her natural garment making talent then and was glad she was recognized for it. Every Tuesday, I
impatiently waited to watch the latest episode of the show. I even talked about it with Norma on the podcast. Every week, we liked every contestant but were #teamcharlotte!
Getting to chat with Charlotte two days after the finale was published made us both a bit giddy. We have a ton of fun during our conversation as we talk about her garment making process, how she became a contestant and her adorable bunny slippers. I am sure you will love this episode.
