Purple Apron {w.i.p}

After my Sorbetto tank learning experience, I decided to enroll in an Apparel Construction class through the local community college district.

For our first class assignment, we made pillowcases. Pillowcase by CraftyPlanner

When I showed the Husband the pillowcase I made him, he couldn’t believe I had made him something.  Oh man!  Talk about guilt!!!  I better work on some more things for him.  🙂

For our second class assignment, we are making aprons.  After MUCH research, I finally found a pattern for a crossover apron.  Here are the fabrics I am using:

  1. Ha ha, don’t hubbies know it’s harder to sew for men? I can’t wait to see your crossover apron. I’ve been pinning ones I’ve found on my Pinterest boards, but I haven’t found a perfect pattern yet!

    1. Angie,

      I swear my Hubs doesn’t realize that!! Have you seen the Negroni shirt pattern? I bought it ambitiously and realized I need a LOT more experience! 🙂

      I promise to share the crossover apron pattern if it works out! I’m excited. 🙂

  2. Oh my, ‘crossover apron’ was new to me, I looked it up, did some research and guess what? I have a new item on my to do list. I’m already envisioning my nieces in fancy apron-style shortdresses.
    The fabrics you’ve chosen for your apron are very lovely.
    Thank you for the inspiration!
