Quilty Box April Podcast: Jeni Baker of In Color Order

Jeni Baker on the Crafty Planner podcast

When I first started to sew, I became obsessed with vintage floral sheets. Drawn to their softness, colors and childhood memories, the sheets were inexpensive enough that I felt comfortable sewing with them. They were also plentiful from local garage sales and flea markets. A google search of sewing with vintage sheets produced Jeni Baker of In Color Order’s website Her bubbly personality came through in her blog posts and her delightful color play always makes me smile. When Quilty Box asked if I wanted to interview her for the podcast, I excitedly said yes!

Jeni is also the pattern designer of one of my “go-to” fabric gifts: a drawstring bag pattern.

During our podcast, we talk about her creative journey, why she is no longer designing fabric, the contents of her Quilty Box, and her love of color.
