Today’s podcast guest is Carolyn Friedlander. If you have listened to the podcast before or followed my blog, you know I admire Carolyn’s work. I dedicated a mini quilt to her (“Thank you, Carolyn”) and have taken her Tangelo class. Along with admiring her work, we share an interest in cities through her architecture and my city planning degree. As we discuss her creative journey, we also discuss how living in Florida affects her design process (but really how wherever you live is your inspiration) including how small pieces of information combine into her big ideas. We also take on her Mighty Lucky Quilting Club challenge to consider one’s “works in progress”, how not to feel overwhelmed by them and make decisions about what to do next. I appreciate Carolyn’s process and hope you enjoy the episode.
